Production process of waterproof tarpaulin
Sep 05,2024
There are two production processes for waterproof tarpaulin. One is horizontal machine mechanical production, which is the type of heavy-duty large cylinder. After putting the tarpaulin into the material, it is then placed on a leather belt, pressed and flattened at the bottom of the heavy-duty large cylinder, and dried in a dryer. Then, the edges are cut, divided into circles, and packaged. One type is vertical machine mechanical production, where the cloth is straightened and placed in the raw material box to be pulled out. The adhesive material on the tarpaulin is high-purity PVC material, and then both sides are straightened and scraped by the machine with a knife. After scraping with the knife, it is dried in a dryer, trimmed, looped, and packaged. There are two types of dryers, one is electric and the other is a boiler. PVC coated tarpaulin produced by horizontal machines is cheaper than PVC coated tarpaulin produced by vertical machines. The reason is that horizontal machines have lower requirements for raw materials in production compared to vertical machines. Horizontal machines can press any type of rubber material, but vertical machines cannot. They have higher requirements for raw materials and must have a certain degree of purity. So PVC tarpaulins produced by vertical machines are often slightly more expensive, and the purity of the tarpaulin products is also high.
